I am eating my first Chinese soup of the day... It's one o'clock in the
morning and I am waiting for Laurent in front of the campsite. He should have
arrived an hour ago already.
I quickly gave him the time and place of our meeting point in an email about 2 weeks ago...He replied in a 2 short lines message that he'll first need to come back from Lithuania , unpack his bag and catch his plane from Geneva 10 hours later before flying to Reykjavik via London...

Hi!
I've just arrived tonight at 11.30pm! I took the Fly bus and arrived 1 and a
half hour later at the campsite. The weather is not so bad. No rain, 12
deegres, clear sky and a late sunset from far away.
My first visual impression of Iceland from the plane was that i was going to
land on a volcanic island (which is not completly wrong 
The smoke coming
out of the earth a bit everywhere is really impressive... Let's see if i am
going to be amazed by something else tomorrow

Yes! The blog is also in English now!
Laurent and I are going to Iceland this summer. We'll cross the island by foot
from north to south with backpacks and enough food for the 3 weeks and 350 kms
of walking...
